The Festival Guild seeks to build true and sustainable community, rooted in the ‘green’ artistry and delight of gathering together to tell our stories, and to celebrate the seasonal gateways of our lives. The vision of the Guild is to create circle within circle of people – individuals, friends, families, schools and whole communities – who can live ‘a festival life’ in service to the planet and all sentient beings. Living a festival life means believing in the power of art, play, and shared celebration to heal and transform our world. It means realigning ourselves with the seasonal cycles of earth and cosmos, and listening deep for the stories and songs bubbling up from the natural world, and from our own hearts, calling us home. Once upon a time, we knew such wisdom. Today, our children, Earth and Spirit need us to remember.
